There&#039;s no replacement for a good teacher who can help you troubleshoot issues and problems.  Suggesting that the same can be done by copying great players and using a method is ridiculous.

But I do agree that a lot of people do get sold lessons.  Unfortunately many parents don&#039;t know what to look for in a teacher -- nor does the average adult beginner.
