Monday Motivation: Schulman Edition

“We should cultivate simplicity and directness rather than fussiness and complexity.”
-Reginald Smith Brindle

Today we feature Andrew Schulman performing his arrangement of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

I’m going to be interviewing Andrew later this week. If you have any questions for him please leave them in the comments.

Wow, the prices on that guitar he’s using are quite amazing for a hand made CG. I would be interested to know how it compares with other more expensive CGs if he has played any. Great performance too!

Hippner guitars, right? I’ve not played one, but the guy has made a lot of guitars so far. And his customers seem very happy with them.

wow that really fell apart towards the end. there are a lot better arrangements and renditions on youtube of Queen’s beloved masterpiece.

    Question for Schulman:
Are you as stingy as Jason Vieaux, when it comes to releasing material to the public?

    • Christopher Davis

      Jona,

Jason is not exactly stingy. And any artist that does an interview for radio or a magazine would get a copy to approval before it gets published. Jason’s interview will be up soon enough, I’m sure. I will use some of your questions, but your comments (other than this one) will probably remain unpublished.

Also, I have not been to a guitar festival (I’d rather pay for tickets to an orchestra concert, to be honest), so I cannot answer your question regarding that.
