Grégoire Brayssing (fl. 1547-60)

Gregoire Brayssing was born in Germany, but moved to France where his instrument, the four-course guitar, flourished in the mid-sixteenth century. Several documents link Brayssing with Adrian Le Roy. There is one extant work by Brayssing today, Quart Livre, which was published in Paris in 1553.
