Some interesting classical guitar happenings for your perusal. First off, Scott Tennant posted on his blog about an interesting project with the LAGQ. Actor John Cleese of Monty Python fame will join the LAGQ in a unique performance March 25th. From Scott’s blog post:

“Cleese will bring to life a dozen characters from Cervantes’ classic tale, enlivened by music from the period by the likes of Milan, Mudarra, Narvaez, de Encina, Ortiz, etc”

The performance is part of the Santa Barbara Symphony’s 2nd International Guitar Festival which looks like it’s going to be an amazing festival.

Marketing genius Seth Godin did an interview for musicmarketing.com in which he discusses the future of the music industry. It’s well worth the 20 minute listen if you’re considering promoting yourself or your music.

Guitar virtuoso Douglas Niedt just posted his technique tip for the month of march. Check it out!
